Notice that on the wiki it states any VS 2010 or higher, I opened the project in VS 2012 Ultimate and get the following warnings:
WebServices\WheelMUD.WebServices.csproj: Visual Studio needs to make non-functional changes to this project in order to enable the project to open in this version and Visual Studio 2010 SP1 without impacting project behavior.
WebServices\WheelMUD.WebServices.csproj: Visual Studio has made non-functional changes to this project in order to enable the project to open in this version and Visual Studio 2010 SP1 without impacting project behavior.
WheelMUD.sln: Visual Studio needs to make non-functional changes to this project in order to enable the project to open in this version and Visual Studio 2010 SP1 without impacting project behavior.

It says it makes the changes without impacting behavior but I'd hate to have these accidently commited at a later date and screw up EVERYONE's project formats. Have you used your VS 2012 on this Fasty?

I think it would be fine to check that in, and even if not, source control protects us. At all times we want to maintain that a free (Express) VS can be used on our project (it has a separate solution due to solution folders ATM). And we want our build server to be able to handle it... but um, Fasta, the build server is misbehaving?

I'm planning on removing those projects out of the main solution, and into a new one. That's the REST webservices I was telling you about.

Why don't you create a new solution specific to VS2012 fro now?

Post by Feverdream (27 Dec 2012 12:48 AM):
So it seems I'm no longer limited to express.. but VS2010 is the best I can do.. lol once again behind the curve.

Feverdream, no biggie. We are not officially moving to VS2012 yet. I was just suggesting to have a VS2012 solution, names something like WheelMUD_VS2012.sln

SharpDevelop is much better these days, so that's another option as well.
